Trade in Value?

Decided to sell the car this spring. Performance just doesn't do it for me after driving the new E92 M3. I'm looking for realistic trade in values and retail values on a 07 loaded 6mt sedan with 35k mileage. I would put the stock wheels/exhaust back on.

my guess would be around 21-23k now or 20-21k in the spring.

26K asking price at this dealer in Texas

you should get some good money for your trade. I would agree anywhere from 21-23 depending on condition.

the 6 speeds tend to resell fairly well. i mean if it's in perfect condition and you had performed the 30k at an infiniti dealership, they'd probably bump it up to at most 24-24.5.

but if you didn't perform the 30k at an infiniti dealership 22.5 is probably what you're going to be looking at.

the E92 m3 is def nice. took one around the track in the summer. man that was a fun drive.

Maybe i'm missing something.....how would a dealer know that i performed the 30k service? Especially a BMW dealer. Please dont say they would plug into the OBDII connection....i've never seen a dealer do that. Especially with a car that's still within the warranty and has been a garage queen for the last two yrs.

this has been helpful. thanks guys

24.5 might be tough w/ a non-Infiniti dealers cuz it's more diff. for them to move or sometimes they just send to auction.

Scott.....yeah its going in a few months. I want a track car. Prices of 08 M3's are in the high 40's. No comparison between G's and the M.

BMW probably won't. But Infiniti would. I found out about my cars entire history just by calling up my local dealership in Texas. The car was originally from Maryland.

Good luck with the trade-in/purchase!

I've been trying to figure this out without going to the dealership for weeks. None of the ppl i've contacted got back to me with eve a rough quote.

I was looking into trading in @ an infiniti dealership and take advantage of the 0% financing for 3 yrs since thats what i have left in my current finance.

I did a few searches online to find a car that would come close to what I have and the closest thing i found was same everything except no tech package.

My car - 08 G35XS ( prem, Nav, Tech, Sport) black / black /w 26k miles.

The car i found online w/o the tec was going for 34k....

Edit: other cars /w either more miles and / or less options were going for 28-33k
