Best money you've spent on mods?

Please post up and share what you think is the best mod for the money you've done. I need to keep my 07 sport sedan for a while but it's bone stock. I want to spend a little dough to make it more fun to drive and keep my interest. I'm not interested in new rims or anything strictly cosmetic, but money well spent on stuff that just makes the daily drive more fun is what I'm after. Thanks in advance.

My new V36 grounding kits are a good bang for the buck. PM me if you are interested.

FWIW, wheels are not just cosmetic

I'd say suspension mods are one of the biggest changes in a car,
if you're into performance & handling.

The GTSpec bars were also a nice bang for the buck upgrade.

I should be more detailed. I have a 6MT and commute about 60 miles round trip daily. Luckily it's against traffic, but it's all freeway and a little monotonous, so improving handling isn't too high on my list. Besides, I take my motorcycle to the track regularly to get my cornering fix and my 6MT handles just fine as is.

I dunno, just wanted to see what you all have done and felt like it was money well spent. Stuff that makes driving the car more fun - could be anything from interior mods to engine stuff. I'm perfectly happy with the way the car looks.

Which one did you get? Does it get annoying on long drives? I actually dig having a sort-of quiet car, but sometimes I want the growl.

I love my FI exhaust and the note it gives has completely changed the attitude and enjoyment level of the car... unmeasurable.
It growls when you get on it (it turns heads too) but has zero drone and is very quiet on the highway. Sounds like our commutes are very similar, so I know you'd be happy with the FI. Well worth the coin, IMO.
I also think a set of wheels (doesn't need to be a $2500- set either) does wonders for the car.

I have HFC, Tanabe exhaust and i put in an X pipe. no drone at all, but sounds great when you push it.

Is FI doing any sort of sale or something on our site? I just checked their site and it's $1429. Done a lot of reading here about exhausts and it's something I've considered, but that is a lot of dough. FI is pretty close to where I live though, so at least I wouldn't have to worry about shipping I guess.

Is your car tinted?

This is my first car that I had tinted. I primarily did it for my 2 little ones in the back, but love how it looks and how it helps keep the car cooler when sunny and reduces glare as well.

Do note that I despite dark tint so mine is "only" 30%. Had my tint been offered in 35%, it would've been perfect.

I'd have to say my custom FI exhaust. Cost more than the regular one and I don't regret it one bit. Love hearing it, especially in tunnels. lol
