Anyone got scratches on their door trim? Where the windows controls are located?

I am getting a lot of nicks and scratches on both the driver and passenger door handles - interior.

Try search and get your answer quickly. Bunch of info about it.

 

Just take it to the dealer, just had my steering wheel and all door handles replaced under warranty. But there is a full thread on this already.

 

I don't know how you guys manage to make those scratches. I had the '08 for over 2 years w/ 17K miles and those places look like new...unless you have long nails.

 

I believe they changed materials for 08 to fix the issues with the 07's.

 

Yep, 07's had the problem.

 

oop, sorry then. I only had the '07 for 1 year. So, I'm not sure.

 

i'm getting my car passenger door, driver door, and steering wheel all replaced. I was just wondering though, do they give you the parts with the same material that flakes off easily, or the updated ones from 2008?
