Hyuandai Copying???

Is it just me or is the new sonata interior center stack too much like our Gs??

I said the same thing myself when i saw those pics yesterday... Hyundais have come a looong way and a bargain for the price.. I once said i would never buy one... but I think perhaps I may think about it!.. which is a big change... lol

If you haven't noticed most of there new cars are copies based on well selling cars from various manufactures.

Yeah, they all do it to some degree.
Hyundai however, are 1st in class when it come to copy cat design.

I wonder who is going to copy the chrome trunk lip

man the new hyundai tucson reminds me of the nissan murano.. but still it's looking good.. Good Job Hyundai.. You've come a loooong way! LOL

don't get me started on how much a piece of $hit hyundai is. they can dress it up and make it look like whatever they want, they can tell the world "we changed", they can claim all kinds of quality figures, but they will always be junk.

i'm happy my 03 tiburon was written off and compacted in a dump where it belongs.

Hehehehe Hyundai is funny. Well Kia too. They don't spend much on design. It is an art of copy and paste. LOL

That's one of the reason I never look at them to buy. I'll do that when they developing there own cars from A-Z.

It is good for people who can't afford the original car and they buy a copy. LOL

Seriously guys? It looks nothing like new G's besides function buttons near navigation. It actually looks better than new G's. of course, Interior wise.

Most of us not talking about just this. We are talking about everything they do. Like genesis coupe and when Kia did that big boat thing I don't even know the name of it. They do copy a lot.

what about genesis coupe? and what kia are you talking about? Can you be more specific?

I'm pretty sure everyone on this thread are talking based on that interior of new sonata. Just read the post #1. You just call it kia and hyundai as a copy cat who has NO originality and funny. Think wise.

lmaooo ya it does look like our g's and the vents look like the cts vents. But I would expect this from them. They do copy cars and put them together lol

It does look similar, but it looks a little better than the G37. And a LOT better than the G35.

It looks nice, I can see how you think they copied infiniti but to be honest I think they did their own thing as best as they could

Hyundai has come a long way since that 03 Tuscon. We owned an 06 Sonata Limited and it was a great car for the money. It's still on the road w/ 90k and no problems (I sold it to a friend). The new Genesis Sedan is very nice as well, sure they copy what is working for other car makes. All auto makers do this to some degree, Hyundai definately does it more than most but they're also copying the Japanese model of building quality autos too. Not liking the Gen Coupe much though, just screams boy-racer, lol.
