New G

Hi all: New to the forum, just got a 2009 G37X in Lakeshore Slate, with wheat interior, premium package, on Monday of this week. Traded in a 2006 Audi A3. Hope to learn a lot from the regulars on the forum. I am an obsessive detailer so my car will always look its best. Not easy to do in the winter in Nova Scotia.

Welcome! Be sure to hit the Canadian section, the Maritimers there will be glad of the company.

& Congrats on the new car.
By your join date, it looks like you've been thinking about a G for a while.

LOL didn't even remember joining back in '05, but at that time I was attempting to buy an Infiniti, but was unable to make a deal, so I went to Audi. I must have been getting info back then, my car before the Audi was a '02 Maxima.

No real horror stories, good dealer service, but warranty ran out, had to replace outside boot, garage said boot normally about $35 cdn. He could only get it from the dealer, $45 and had to courier to the garage $17. Total with labor was $214 cdn. That was a simple repair. I would hate to get into major things. BTW the dealer replaced the entire turbocharger about 3 weeks before warranty ran out, free for me, but a month later would have been about $4000.

Hey welcome to another fellow maritimer. Congrats on the 37 and hope Doug or Mike were good to you.

Check out the Canadian section where most of us Canucks hang out. Maybe we'll be able to catch up with you sometime locally.
