proud new owner of a 2007 g35s =)

black obsidian / stone leather.. no other packages besides the sport.. got a great deal on it.. $22,800 w/ 43k miles

i've been researching this car for a while.. and i joined this website about a year ago.. but i finally pulled the trigger.. the timing was just right

i have no mod plans for now.. i want to pay the car off first before i do anything to it..

i hope to learn a lot from all of you

i will post pics as soon as i wash and clay bar that sucker

Just got an 07 G35S sedan too! 2007 Silver w/ stone interior and every possible option and package. 17,500 miles for $24,000 after negotiations.

so i have my first question..

i have some tar like substance on the front grill that won't come off.. what's the best way to clean / get rid of that?

How much was it listed at?

That seems like an insane deal!

Tar remover??, just a guess If that doesnt work you can try rubbing alcohol or claybar. If those work make sure you apply a wax or sealant afterwards to protect the investment. If they dont work it may be the chrome chipping off revealing the black primer, its pretty common with our grills. Happened to mine and dealer replaced under warrenty. They even gave me back my old one and I painted it black (also common).

it's not tar.. it's sap i think.. it's clear.. and that sh*t won't come off.. i tried windex.. but no luck

i'll try the clay bar later today

I recently had gum on my hood and it made a nice tar like "stain". I tried multiple things to get rid of it, but the thing that worked the best was this.

I parked my car in the driveway.
That night, there was a decent amount of rain.
The tree above my car dropped one of it's branches onto my front fender and hood.
Insurance bought me a new hood.
No more stain.
