I'm going to be trading my rear Sport wheels from my '08 for another set of rear Sport wheels from an '07.

I assume I don't have to do anything with the tire pressure sensors? In summary, my front wheels will have the sensors that came with my car and my "new" rear wheels will have the sensors from the other car.

You have to get the "new" tpms registered to work with your car.
