I'll know more next week after I take my car in for test fitting, but from what they told me at the SEMA show, they will be changing the pipe design slightly and using a slightly larger filter element with more surface area to help minimize the pressure drop accross the filter and optimize the flow. The big change is that they will be adding "european style" heat shields that will look like their M3 intake, and are similar to what Dinan uses for their BMW kits.

A little off topic. Is that digital clock compatible with the state side G?

make sure you persuade them to use a full heatshield model. I have been talking with Ryan over at Takeda since my first gen Takeda intakes. He is saying that they are working on several different designs and are not sure which they will use. he did say that you were going by there next week.

Yeah, Ryan is the one I've been working with. I have been pressing him for full heatshields, as well, so it will be interesting to see what they end up doing. I showed him the heat shield I designed and custom made for my K&N intake, but he said they plan to use a slightly different design.

Sorry for going so far off topic with this... Back on topic now... Anyway, I just e-mailed IGT about some CF parts, including CF mirror covers and front grille!

^ Exactly... And I've already contacted them and they have no plans to make them for the 2nd gen sedans.
