Thanks for the reply guys...
wow I realy didn't expect that much response =) ...yes will definately keep this post going and updated with new progress. The progress might not be as fast cause of the cold weather but will still work on it.

Quote: Welcome. How much did you buy the G35 for?
well got the car for $8980 shipped to my door.

Quote: subscribed. I love threads like these. do you have a parts list of what you need?
Riverside Infiniti carries all the OEM parts you need and for good $$ too.
Are you simply restoring it or modding it while you go?
One more thing, is the bent lower brace welded or bolted? I see a weld seam but I also see a big bolt...
no part list yet, I'm kinda doing step by step. getting that oil pan changed first.
Also will keep in mind of that Infiniti of riverside you mentioned. Is there a number and a sales person you guys know whom to talk to about the parts? maybe discounts too?
Also might be thinking about modding as I go, we'll see.
that lower brace is bolded, it's not welded.

Quote: Wow, a Sport 5AT without the premium package - surprising.

Good luck with the rebuild! make sure to go with the sport bumper. But in all honestly - this could be a good opportunity for a '10 facelift. Check out the new 2010 model and see if you like that better - I like the new non-sport but hate the sport. I bet those parts will fit on there. That'd be really interesting to see!
Yeah mine doesn't have the navi, and I guess some other things what premium packages do. I'm still not aware of what premiums come with.
Also yeah that's a pretty good Idea about going 2010 of the whole front. But one thing suck is that those parts are gonna be hard to find for a good price, since those for this year is P.I.T.A to find as well. =S there is like no good soure for parts for these gen Gs'! =/

well ther is a frame damage, will need to pull that at work, I'm a body man so it's no problem.

$9K is a steal IMO.
for about half of that, you can have the car perfectly up and running assuming there is no major damage.

^ My thought as well.
Looks like a very worthwhile project car.
Having the interior intact with only the drivers airbag to replace is great.

yeah I thought that was a pretty great price for a 07 G35S with 24K miles, and only one driver bag blown. I'll keep you guys updated how much the whole repair is gonna cost me.
The $$$ are all gonna go on the parts, cause all the labor I'm doing myslef.

Well my Maxima been totaled recently and I had to repair it... got the whole car fixed for just over 1K!!! Here's the thread if anyone interested... Have the pics and the whole total project story there
