well I got most of the front end parts coming in this week, so I'm thinking doing the work over the weekends and painting the car on the weekends after that. So about 2 weeks I hope the car should be set. It all depends how busy im here at work.

BTW that's why I'm changing my drive belt and engine mounts on the car while everything is still off the car.

Well I bought this car from ebay. A company called ATL Global Imports sell cars on ebay, copart, iaai auctions. They have variety of different kind of cars. When I was bidding on the car at that time there I out bid some guy for $100 and took the car home. Of course there was way more damage then I expected but still not too bad for the value and the condition of the car.

same color, since Im not painting the roof, trunk and the rear bumper. But I could though Maybe I should repaint it different color. Something not far from the OE K52 Color. Still don't know.

BTW should post more progress pics today if it's gonna be possible.

More Progress...

Well here's more recent progress with my G.

Changing my crushed engine mounts and my bent lower control arm.

here are the old engine mounts...

...and here's the lower bent control arm compared to the new one on the right. See the difference at the right arm where the bushing is???

So finally built the whole front end. Got my R2Cs intakes installed since most of the OEM intakes where crushed and no good. The bumper is not fully mounted yet, just clipped at the top to stay

and here's the shot of the car up to date...

hey it looks like its coming along great. are the bumpers fully mounted because they seem so stick out a little in the front where the bumper meets the wheels arch. how much is the whole thing going to cost?

yeah the bumper is not fully mounted, just clipped on at the top for now.
...well I haven't estimated the complete repair process, but roughly about 5K I would say. At the end of the whole repair I'll calculate all the prices, charges then post them here to share it with you guys and see where I'm standing. I didn't want to go over 5K when I started it, so I think I'm doing pretty good for now.

Nice job! i am pleased to see you do this rebuild the right way and not just throw on some cosmetic parts to make it look good... and the R2C intakes makes this build SO much better! Enjoy and keep us updated.
