New G35S owner!

Hello everybody!!!

I have been lurking the forums for a few weeks in ancipation of buying a g35v36 sedan and I finally found my baby! A 2007g35s 6mt in LP. With only 19k miles! Who would have thought it would be on carmax? I almost drove 5 hours for a manual g35s with low miles in my price range. When I called the dealer they had already sold it.

They car is coming from tennessee so it should be here this weekend. I'll be sure to post pictures.

A couple of questions though. I had some trouble finding a "change your own oil & filter DIY." If someone could post me a link to one it would be much appreciated.

Also, does anyone know of any killer deals on motor oil?

thanks!

Congrats and Welcome! Amazing to see a 2007 6MT with only 19k miles on it! Hope you enjoy it as much as i do everyday.

Also make sure you properly test drive the car when it reaches your carmax location to make sure that the clutch is in proper working order, as you can still deny the sale if the car has any issues. (as once you drive it off, they consider the clutch as being a wear and tear item, thus not covered under their warranty)

Welcome to the forum (as an owner)
I have driven mine everyday since I bought it new, late '07, and just hit 23,000mi so I'm not surprised you could find one with less miles on it. Good find!
Some 07's where sold new in late '06 and some in '08. The model year really doesn't tell us how long it's been on the road.

Cheers

2008 G35 Journey Sedan no sunroof
Walmart has a 5 qt jug of Valvoline full synthetic 5W-30 for around $22 -- or a lot of other oils in 5 qt jugs (which is exactly what the car needs for each oil change).

Ouch, sorry man. That black is dead sexy too though. I would think they would have the price a bit lower with 50k miles though.

Hell, I think I even overpaid a bit at $26,900 before taxes and $450 shipping to Florida. I guess it's the price you pay for the great buying experience and huge selection they give. I least I don't have to spend a day haggling the price down. Good luck

but its fully loaded. the miles arent bad avg 12-15k year equals to about 45k, so 6k over isnt bad.

I plan on owning it by Saturday

Alright, I bought her!

I wanted to wait until i got it detailed. and litterally on the way home in poured on my ride....

so I waited till I had time today to clean it and take some pictures for everyone. I ran outta daylight so I had some trouble getting good shots in my garage but here are the best.

btw this is after using Four Star Ultimate Paint Protection.
