Angry Trying to get rid of Egg fried look

Hi guys, ok I ordered these early last year to change my front indicator lights and get the egg fried look out: http://store.ijdmtoy.com/SearchResul...LED_T20_SKU066

Now I don't know if anyone else has these but these fit like crap, they don't even sit in the plug properly, they're extremely loose once installed and any bump will dislodge them into my headlight cover, which will be impossible to remove.

So what other lights can I get to get rid of the egg fried look? this is for the front indicators

and has anyone bought the same lights as the ones above? if so how do they fit? because the ones I have are ABSOLUTE CRAP!! and I've been holding on to them for nearly a year now.

i changed mine back in june 2007 with superbrightleds.com size 194. Never had a problem since then. no falling out, no flickering, or burnt out bulbs.

i have them in my photo album if you wanna take a look.

i also heard vleds.com are also good. but since i havent had any problems with superbrightleds, i continue to get all my bulbs from them.

Go and get some silicone

That stuff, and put a little bead of it on the light to hold it in place. This stuff stays pretty malleable and is easy to remove when the light needs to be replaced. I've used it it tonnes of headlights and it doesn't damage the inside or anything. I'm sure another brand would work fine as well. Just make sure it's the clear kind.

That's what I was referring to.

Ignore the clear lesns in that photo I just wanted the picture of the silicone. Just put some on the led and put it in the socket it will fit snug and won't fall out. I did it on my Cadillac for the same reason.

are you serious lol I'd rather get ones that actually fit, but that is one way I could do it. But wouldn't the silicone go soft if the lights heat up? I'd just rather not take the risk

I mod headlights, I'm fully serious.

These are extremely low wattage LEDs, they won't be even be coming close to warm. The HIDs are too far away to affect them, and since they're projectors the heat is more concentrated straight forward instead of all over the headlight housing.

daffy, i bought those same exact LED blinker bulbs 3 months ago and i experienced the same as you. they were very loose and were also extremely dim when they were blinking so i immediately switched them out with these: http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/P...10365-1-2.html <--these are quite expensive but they are worth it IMO because well they fit properly and are hella bright.

Thanks for the linky, yeah I've seen those before, I just didn't want them to stand out in the headlights, I guess I have to see them in person to see how it looks. Thanks for the help though

I don't get it, why aren't there any aftermarket bulbs that actually fit properly into the housing rather than having to use sealant to stick them in place? Does the stock bulb use sealant too?

Nope stock bulb doesn't, and there are ones that fit properly, you just have to find them. I think the ones I ordered from are 194 which should fit properly
