yeah, it would be after heavy rain. the water would roll down the windsheild and into the opening the installer left in the gasket on the fire wall. for some reason the rear foot well is lower than the front so the water would roll to the back seat.

i would check all the gaskets on the firewall first, then have the dealer check the sunroof drain for clogs

Can you take a picture of where this is and of what you did?

Here are the two wires coming through my firewall. The holes are not sealed (if I shine a light into the holes from the engine side, I can see the light leak through from the inside of the car). There are three holes (one is empty).

Do you all have sunroofs? If so, you might have a drain tube either clogged or coming loose allowing water to drain in somewhere. Does anyone know where the drain tubes follow through the structure?

well...if you have a sub installed and the installer is running the wire through that firewall rubber piece but just pulled it out instead of poking the wire through then there will be a gap where the water will leak into. Only when it rains hard then the water will get inside, but its drizzling then there wont be water in there.

it looks like someone drilled thise holes. mine already had a gasket in it and i just stuck a hole inthe gasket and put the wire through it. i gotta charge my cam but ill try to get a pic. u may wanna try silicone until you find a gasket that will fit it
