Question Should I buy a 2008 G35x Sport with 45k miles?

I have been offerred to buy a 2008 G35x Sport edition, black on black, nav, premium pack.

They did a brake job to certify it as Infiniti CPO (100k miles or 6 years).

Price is $25,500 in the Boston area.

What would you do if offerred this deal?

Thanks for any advice.

Have you looked around at the same car and what going price is? Do you like the car? Is it what you are looking for? Have you read any reviews on the G35x Sport? I would may be start there and come back with a few more specific questions once you have an idea about the car and its value.

I researched 08 G35X (non sport) bought it and love it, premium edition (no nav package) Brother has the G37x Sport, he loves his , yes it is smoother with the 7 speed but man my wife loves the 08 I picked up for her and has not complained at all, we found it with 17K on it, paid more than what you have found , your deal seems decent , gl

I just bought mine 2 weeks ago same car with 19,000 miles, went i looked on Autotrader there was only 1 other black x-s in the country for sale. I paid 30,500$ and I probably paid about 1000$ to much but I got the color and options I wanted . www.edmunds.com showed a retail of 32,500$ and certified was 34,260$ , KBB does not have some of the options to add to the price like Sport pkg and Bu camera. I cant wait to drive it everyday I love it ! good luck.

$25k for an 08 and CPO seems like a fair enough price. i just got a non-cpo 08 g35x base for $22500 from a non-infiniti dealer, 40k miles, so add $2k for the nav, and you are right at $25k. fair price to me. when i was shopping at norwood infiniti, they said they could drop the price by about $900-1000 to purchase the car without the CPO. you might want to try that, but i would probably just get it cpo'd.

good luck. it's a nice car.

It seems like a very good deal for an XS. The only problem is that it does have high miles for a 2008, but since it is a CPO, that might balance things out.

According to KBB an Excellent condition 08 G35x (they don't list the XS) with 45,000mi, NAV, Premium and CPO, in Boston, is valued at $29,545

As a member that is currently searching (almost daily), this price seems very fair to me. Black/Black color combo with sport has been a pretty hard one to come by...add to that nav and AWD and you have yourself a pretty good deal.

Mileage does indeed seem high, just make sure this wasnt a rental of some sort as that can bring down the price significantly.

2008 g35x

I just purchased mine in Canada, and I absolutely love it. I paid 22k here in Canada, but I do not have navigation or the Bose stereo. Super fast, great brakes, and very comfortable.

Seems a little steep for the car but they sport models are pretty rare so you might want to jump on it depending on how much you want the sport. One year ago I got a 2008 g35x with 10,000 miles for $25,000 with premium and technology package. I thought that was a pretty good deal.

Zombie thread but I'm glad I was able to see how much people are still paying for the V36. I rushed into my purchase but I felt like it was a good deal, $21,900 for an '08 G35 Journey w/ Premium + Tech, no nav, 38k miles. Also not CPO. Bought right before Xmas.
