New Car V2 - From 350z to Infi + Project Vehicle

Well im not really new here guys, i been a member ever since i sold my 350Z in 2008 and purchased my Wrecked Infiniti G35 S ... one of the rarest finds, it being 6 Speed, RWD with much to show for =)

I bought the car from California, as someone attempted to fix, when i brought it home it was a "Mexican Job" and had to be all redone. 80% of the car was in Bando, and a complete Wreck!

Project car, stripped everything off, repainted, new parts, new interior parts, new wheels, new parts all over! =)

Here are some pics!
hope you enjoy

* Awaiting for new parts to arrive, so keep checking back for more mods, n changes,

hehe thank you shurik =)
ahh yeah the old church spot.. thats where we take all of our pics haha lolz
the rear tires are 255/35/20 boss, fronts are 245/35/20
the rear tires actually do stick out a bit more then flushed... maybe about 1/4 inch but no big deal.

The color was a Custom Color really, i wanted something in charcoal catagory, and did a mixture of everything.. to get the perfect metallic and pearl blend. The color is SEX in real life though, unlike anything else.

More mods on its way, suspension, went with Tenabe GF210's, Rsr Catback, rear spoiler. Also thinking about getting sway bar as my Z had it in the engine bay =)

.Vehicle Also for sale atm.

Looks great! i am amazed to see more and more people picking up later year "wrecked" models and fixing them up nicely within a good range of money!

Great job! The only thing that is bothering me a bit is the hood but it could be the angle in the pics.

thanks mate,
but you are right, the passenger side hood area is not aligned to its full potential, when i got the vehicle, the people used the OLD bent hood as you saw in silver pics, with the bent fender to align both of them and ended up bending everything, and i CANT align brand new parts i bought, due to them messing it up completely, and dont feel the need to buy the new front end and rewelding it, as its pretty much the only way to make it "original fit" at this point. =S

bro the reason why u cant allign the hood properly is mostly because there is front frame damage. Datum is off. Meaning up & down most likely to be an issue with the front frame horns. Did you measure your frame yet? did they have frame machine to check it???

yes i measured the frame, and yes it is OFF a bit, but not bad enough for the hood n fender not to line up like that, its hard to explain, u must see it in person to understand what those "mexicans" did to it. that little lightweight, metal that fenders, good bolt on to, are bent out of this world, and its something u cant buy at the dealer, or even if u could it be lots $$$$ which im not willing to do it as its not that bad =)

ahhh well, the measurements are off by a bit, especially at Y pipe and resonator area but to make my SICK exhaust fit would mean to modify my existing piping = no way going back to make it fit on 350z if i ever get one again =(

here is the link for the RSR:

Also they are not manufactured any longer, so to get your hands on one is just as hard as becoming US president

I'll be the first to say, that your car has the wrong bumper on it. You have a Journey bumper, on a sport. That just screams "I am rebuilt!"

Just a little FYI. This is a sport bumper.

^+1 i think i spot S single piston brakes upfront but could be wrong, either way the car looks nice and if youre happy with it and going to keep it then why bother, only thing i would do would be to remove the 'S' form the back to keep ppl from knowing its the wrong bumper.

Still great job and keep at it for as long as youre happy with it!

^It is a 6spd though, so people will already know its a sport model.

Nothing looks worse than a car with body parts it wasn't designed for. I have seen a few 03-04 sedans with 05 front ends. Thats just how bad of accidents they got in. Then people didnt pay attention and just bought the front clips to the wrong cars.
