License Plate Mounting Hardware?
Does anybody know what size & threading the screws that hold on the rear license plate on the mounting bracket?
I bought my 2007 G35 Journey used from an auction and because it came from out of state, it didn't come with a license plate attached. It looks like when they removed the plate, they also removed and kept the mounting hardware screws so until I find/buy matching hardware, I can't mount my license plate.
Any help? Should I just take it to the dealer?

When I was installing the license plate camera, I used
to mount it. The screws had the right thread and width but were a bit longer than necessary. I don't have the exact measurements but based on the description, the size/threading should be standard for imports - places like AutoZone should have them. If not, try the dealer.
Thanks for the info, I went to Autozone and picked up a set of generic license plate hardware of the same size and was having trouble getting the screws to thread through the stock u-nuts that came on the bracket. I pulled off the u-nuts and drove the screw in through the back of the nut and it seemed to take just fine for 3 turns until it reached the front of the nut where it must have been stripped or something.
I put the u-nut into a vice and torqued the screw through the nut to re-thread the stripped part and now it works fine.
Now that i have my rear plate mounted, I can take the temporary sticker off of my windshield.
