That sucks hear to invest this much money into a one-time update. Thanks for post this though, I would have pulled the trigger and been disappointed. Have you attempted to contact Navteq about this yet?

I've had this happen to me and found that messing with the address a bit or entering it in a few different ways usually yields results.

Some how the database doesn't like certain entries.

Like the other day i was in Washington DC and was looking for a local address

I enter the number, then street name and then city name. No Results

Then i enter number, street and LIST ALL. After some scrolling I found what I was looking for. It's weird but it works.

I've sent an e-mail to Navteq. Sent two weeks ago-No response yet.

I could not enter the address at all. It gave me an error that there were no numbers below 300 on that street. When we arrived we saw several public buildings with 100 numbers on them.
When we got home I entered the address in the Garmin in my truck and it took it just fine. It's a shame that a GPS that cost less than half the price of this update could be a better of equipment.

I have an 05 and updated to 6.10 (that latest version, 2011-2012) and I highly recommend it. I haven't updated it for a while and WOW there are a lot of new roads and residentials etc, especially where I am in San Diego!

Since nokia bought navteq they've been going way downhill. Big layoffs and cuts by Nokia have been gutting the place. I'm surprised they updated it at all anymore lol.
