Question 15,000 Mile service

I just hit 15K in my sedan, haven't done any major service appointments, my car has just given me the reminder for 15k service. Is it a rip-off or does it have to be done?

What is this service supposed to do for me? Is it really necessary and has anyone went for it? How much does it cost.

dont always listen to ur dealer, they will say u have to get alot of stuff done, like replace all the hoses at 15k.... are u serious? im sure if they had a 50k free maint, they wouldnt give a crap about the damn hoses.

ask them what is covered and TELL them what you want to get done and only do that. dont go for the whole package, it will cost you $500+

thats my opinion

^agreed. i am at almost 40k and i have only done regular maintenance. I will probably do a tune up at 50k and i wouldn't do it at a dealership. goto a local authorized nissan/infiniti shop that is reputable and they will tell you what you really need done, and it will be cheaper.
