been swaying back and forth for a while, but i think i'm in need of an upgrade. no experience whatsoever w/ the infiniti scene, but i'm pretty much in love w/ the v36 g's.
actually coming from an 01 s4, and it's been pissing me off pretty well as of late, so i'm looking to trade it in.
been reading up for a while, but i'd appreciate some input from you guys.
looking at some 08's, locally, and can't really seem to figure out what packages some of these include, ie, sport, nav, prem.
for example, i know the prem package includes the bose system, correct? which includes 10-speakers but some models i've seen indicate a bose system w/ only 6. i'm not sure if this is just incompetence from the dealers or what.
but i was just wondering if there were some obvious physical attributes that anyone would be able to point out to see if a certain car included advertised packages.

 

Hey Keem... welcome to the forum.

A couple of easy ways to tell what pack the car has. There's 3 packages... Premium, Navigation and Tech.
Tech includes all 3 packs. Nav includes Premium.

The upgraded stereo is the same for all models, you either have it or you don't.
The premium package will have automatic windows all the way around. The base model, only the driver's window switch will say Auto on it. You'll also see Homelink buttons on the rearview mirror.
Tech pack is easy... look for the ICC sensor in the front lower spoiler or the Adaptive Headlight switch, which is located to the left of the trunk release button near the drivers left knee.
In 08, the Nav pack included the reverse camera so you can easily look for that on the trunk lid.
