How do u know what packages ur car has?
Sorry,
I tried looking around to see, but I didn't find anything...
I bought this car used and of course the salesman didn't know anything about it. I have read info on here such as premium package and technology package and such... How can I find out what all my car has?
It is an 08' G35x... I know it has seat memory. I know when that seat gets moved backwards the steering wheel/mirrors adjust (premium package?) What else?
Thanks again to all who can share.

Starting with the badge in the back, the G35S means Sport Package and G35x means 4-wheel drive (also notable by the "SNOW" button in front of the center arm rest) G35xS means both 4-wheel drive + Sport package (rare).
Obviously if it has an 8-way direction controller and 15 buttons below the screen (one of which says Map) then it has a Nav. It would also have a CF-Slot below the Passenger temperature control ****, this would also mean you have a hard drive to rip songs to.
I think "Journey" package just means dual-zone climate controls + a trunk cargo net. I really have no idea what else distinguishes a Journey from a normal G35.
On my 07, The Tech package comes with an extra button next to the trunk release and VDC toggle next to your left knee that activates/deactivates the Adaptive Front lighting System (AFS) that turns your headlights with the steering wheel. Also, there are two buttons on the right lower thumb of the steering wheel, one that says "On/Off" and the other has a picture of a car atop a pyramid of 3 trapezoids. That is for the intelligent cruise control.
Lastly, if there is a black camera smack-dab in the middle of your trunk (next to the silver button), then you have a rear-view camera.

I think an 08 the following options
Sport
Premium
Navi
Tech
4 Wheel Active Steering.
Obviously Sport and Navi is easy to tell. On an 08, if you have nav. then the rear view camera comes with it.
Not sure if having a sunroof falls under Journey or Premium.
Tech package has the active headlights and the active laser or watever blah cruise control.
4 Wheel Active Steering will require that you have a spoiler... and even with a spoiler I don't think there is a way to tell....

The 2008 Infiniti G35 receives a few updates including an available Infiniti iPod Interface and Driver’s Audio Stage, standard XM Satellite Radio and availability of the Sport Package on the G35x AWD version. Base, Journey, Sport 6MT, xAWD.
Journey has to choose from a Technology Package, Premium Package,Sport Package Navigation Package if I remember right.

If you have the premium package then you get sunroof, Bluetooth phone, 6 disk CD changer, memory seats etc. If you have the sport package you get a different front bumper, sport wheels, seats, suspension. And to the person who said the G35xS is rare it's really not. I have a G35xS along with a whole bunch of other members.
If you habe the navigation package then you will have reverse camera, navigation (obviously), touch screen.
