Is TPMS sensors covered under warranty?

A week ago i went to have my summer wheels put on and wanted to switch the TPMS from the winter wheels onto my summer wheels. After pulling to tires off, the tech noticed that the TPMS sensors were cracking. I watched him pull the other two tires off and also saw the other sensors also cracking.
so would these sensors be covered under warranty?

Yes, unless the dealership blames the shop for cracking them.

if i remember right i was told that the TPMS are only covered for a year when i had one fail on me a while back... and they said that even if it was to be covered i would have had to gone to the dealer to get it checked/removed/replaced, thats how they make the money.

Would they not be covered on the bumper to bumper warranty unless specifically excluded?

I don't see why not. It's not like it's a wear and tear item like brakes or tires.
