rattle in dash near glove box door
Have you ever replaced the cabin filter? Once you get the glove box out, there is quite a bit of stuff back there that can rattle. My guess would be that if the cabin filter was replaced, it wasn't put back together correctly. There are a couple of metal clips that are meant to have a screw go through them as it's being reassembled and they can fall off before you even have the chance to get the screw in them. It could be one of them laying on top of plastic that is causing the rattle. Even if it's not that, the assembly is easy enough to take apart that you can do some investigating.
Good luck!
Good luck!
I had the same type of rattle. Mine actually turned out to be the dash up against the windshield on the passenger side. I pushed a piece of rubber between the dash and the windshield in the corner. It solved my rattle problem.
