does a 2007 G35 have rain sensing winshield? or are they in the wipers? what package would have that option?

No

The G comes with Speed Sensitive Wipers, but none of the option packs have anything offering rain sensing wipers.

If it makes you feel any better, our MDX has them and I'm not a big fan. The sweep when they don't need to (if a bug hits the sensor) and they don't sweep enough if it's dark out and rain is very light (misting)
I'd much rather just have intermittent... which the MDX does not have.

I had 2 cars with it and find it wierd like Aeson stated it. It comes on when not needed. I hated it when it was just enough dirt to make the windshield messy from other cars but still see thru and the wiper came on to make my windshield for 4-5 seconds blocked could not see a frickin thing till I hit the washer.
