I'm using ipod nano 2nd generation via ipod integration system.

Perhaps this is normal but it is set to stay powered on even after engine shut off.

well, it's above 90 degrees out here, and the ipod gets pretty hot after a few hours sitting in the car (b/c it's remaining on).

Is there a way to sett my ipod to be turned off when not used (without plugging off the cable)?

would using Scosche make a difference?
