Off subject, but is there a list of common issues w the sedans? It seems like noisy manual trans, cluster, dash peeling issues,5th gear grind...are all fairly occurring problems. It's kinda sad.

You should also add leaky power steering racks to that list too...also wood trim peeling from the side of the doors. I'm not sure if the aluminum colored trim has the same issue. Also, a lot of people have the rubber mold coming off the doors too...

Other than that, engine still runs great! Transmission is okay, but not sure about the longevity.

Honestly, it's rather pathetic...I'm to the point of returning my car to stock and getting a 03-06...

Even after driving and the interior started cooling down, the tach went back to normal. The dealer had to have it in the sun for a couple hours to see this issue.
Well i park on the street with no shade and windows closed to sun does shine directly on top of the cluster at even over 100F for hours and then drive fine with no issues, and iv only seen maybe 6 people on these forums that have had this issue which is why im curious on the different scenarios.

Besides if you have an auto and drive in 'D' you dont really need the tach(not that this means they should go bad) but it would not be fun to drive with a bad tach on a MT if you plan to drive 'spirited'

Lol, that's true. I have an AT and I still enjoy watching the needles jump when I drive spirited on DS mode, even sometimes in "manual gear select" mode. Maybe you're one of the lucky ones with a cluster that doesn't show problems. Do you know what month/year production your G is in? Mine was produced in Dec. 2006.

Ever since I got mine replaced I haven't experienced any tach issues, so I'm sure they probably figured out what the problem is and changed their cluster materials somewhere in the newer production 07-08 sedans?

Has anyone on here ever had an issue with their front brakes making a clicking noise that can be felt through the pedal. I did a brake job and there is a clicking noise that can be heard only on a slow stop going forward. It does not make any noise braking in reverse. It doesn't make any noise hard braking going forward. Only slow braking going forward. I have taken the brakes apart again to make sure everything was right and found no problems. I took the pads back and exchanged them for other pads, thinking maybe I had bad pads. I had the rotors turned and it still does it. Any help would appreciated.
