Advice - Vibration

Ok...almost 3 years on the 08 S - great so far overall.

Recently tho I'm having issues with a very slight vibration anywhere above 45 or so. I just put 2 new wheels and new tires on my 19's. Roadforced balanced by an expert here in LA. Also have new brakes...but that would not cause vibration unless i was applying brake force.

Anyone have any idea what could cause this? Suspension or bearing issue?

I've checked the TSBs...

Thoughts?

thanks,

Do you still have the old wheels & tires? If so switch them out and see if it still has an issue.

bent wheels perhaps? Not just a bend on the lips, but more like a wobble from side to side. You can't really see it unless you take a look at it while it's mounted on an axle and giving it a little a spin.

They are literally brand new...and it's not a vibration like out of balance or alignment...i would know that...

it's hard to describe...but i've had these 19's on since I purchased...and have literally replaced all for wheels - the front two last week. I did bend a rim by hitting a pot hole - hence the replacement. DId that do anything to suspension?

check your wheel bearings on the hub of the wheel that hit... you may have messed that up.

^ I second that thought. If you hit a pothole the issue could be a wheel bearing although you would generally hear a slight grinding noise and I take it thats not the case. Don't think its a warped rotor as you would only feel that when braking.
