i got a 2007 g35x just got my fajita intakes and thinkin about getting a full stillen header, hfc, catback exhaust package. just wondering if anyone has a link to an audio clip with this setup? and if anyone else is running this package? i will most likely need a tune, problem is im not sure where to go and what to get.... uprev, technospquare? im in long island ny

 

Are your Fajita intakes Extra spicy? carnitas? lol the headers on our cars are just fine. give Fast intentions a call, Tony is super nice and will help you with whatever you need. i have their FI Catback and it sounds awesome. i dont have their HFC yet but everyone speaks praises about them here. CBE has Zero Drone on the highway and the HFCs dont throw any codes.

From what i have heard Stillen build quality is a bit off and it drones quite a bit.

Interalian has the FI catback setup on his X - required a specific y-pipe IIRC. Don't think he's done a sound clip for it yet.

 

I have the FI catback and love it. There used to be some good Youtube clips of the FI exhaust with and w/o their hiflow cats. Try a search.

thanx austin i contact fast intentions he was a real pleasure to speak to. im placing my order for the hfc, exhaust..... after i get it installed im gonna send it over to get an uprev tune and see where we are at. i got the bug bad $$$$$$

 

Damn.... i wish i could just do that! i mulled over the exhaust for months before ordering it! post clips when your done!! you shouldnt be dissapointed... def give it a couple hundred miles to really break in. are you getting the round or oval mufflers? there are also a couple different tips you can get as well.

 

i didnt know there was different tips! ill have to call back on that one to see whats up with that. but im glad i went with fast intentions. he said the stillen will rust and is actually 15lbs heavier than the STOCK one..... which was shocking! im also gonna shy away from the headers as he said it will totally make my car louder than need be and the gains will not be substantial enough to justify the cost! so im waiting on delivery and then its off to install and uprev tune. ill post some pics when done and video to. ill also post some before and after dyno results.

now can anyone help me out with what to do about suspension? im gonna get the BC's but im hearing we need sway bars and i have the X!!! which im under the impression there are none for us! i also wanna do a staggered 19" wheel package with tires but not to sure about the right looking wheel... i want a rear deep dish preferably chrome or polished lip. but my car is black so i dont know if i wanna do a black wheel. trying to keep it classy.
