I am excited to be the new owner of a 2007 g35. I have a couple of quick question. (I will have to order a owners manual)

Can you listen to the radio without the ignition being on?

The second key I received with the car had a dead battery which I replaced but its not being recognized. I assume it needs to me initialized. The dealer wants $110. Seem very expensive for 5 minutes of work. Can I take it to a Nissan dealership for this?

As for your first question, you must have the ingition set at least to ACC for your radio to work, as with most cars.

I'm not sure about setting up the key. Did you try doing a search?

 

I tried to do a search before I registered but could not get through the verification screen. Maybe it will work now that I signed up.
