Dealer service win!
So I'm getting some brake vibration at 50k miles, and was about to buy pads and rotors. Then someone mentioned the TSB, so instead went to the dealer.
And BTW, thank you to whoever mentioned the TSB in a post!
- Me: I have the brake judder problem, getting vibration at highway speeds.
- Dealer: We can certainly fix that for you; new pads and turning the rotors will be $400.
- Me: There's a TSB, do you need the number?
- Dealer: I don't think it applies to your model. (checks). Oh look, yes it does. No charge.
And BTW, thank you to whoever mentioned the TSB in a post!

hmmmm how do you describe the judders? My brakes are make a screeching sound when I tap them and i feel a slight vibration on highway speeds when i slow down but it isnt that apparent. Does any vibration constitute brake judder or is it only when it is a lot and obvious?
thanks

i have no luck with these type of things with the dealer. I tried this two weeks ago and the dealer told me it only applied to cars with less than 12,000 miles (I was at 38,000). I told the service guy that other people were getting this paid for by Infiniti and he said that if it was maybe in the 20k range, he could probably get it processed but that I just had too many miles.

I tried this yesterday, and got my brakes done under warranty. My car currently have 28k on it, and they were going to denied fixing it for me, because my brakes pads only have 1mm left on them. I told the service manager that my car is still under warranty, so they said we are going to let this one slide this time lol.

My '02 Maxima used to warp rotors in what seemed like every 15K miles. The remedy on that car at least was using ceramic pads and ensuring lug nuts weren't torqued more than 80 foot lbs.

Dealer told me I have 2 bring it in so they can see if the pads will fit my car. (120 mile round trip) I said the TSB applies to all '07 G35x(s) and he said yes but if the pads won't fit then Infiniti will not pay 4 'em. He's had experience w/these pad replacements on this car and some fit and some don't. WTF?
