Brake PEDAL squeak?

Hey Guys,

I am just starting to have a problem with my brake pedal on my 2007 G35x Sedan. Every time I release the pedal, I get a "sucking squeak" noise.... like when you pull a straw out of its hole on top of a lid. But it has sort of a higher pitch sound.

So its like a "semi-squeak"? u may say...

Anyone know how to remedy this? it is really annoying.. it happens EVERYTIME i RELEASE the brake pedal...

Any input, suggestions, greatly appreciated

THanks!

I have the exact same problem.
I actually was going to spray wd-40 on the pedal but I couldn't because there were awful lot of wires going on under the pedal.

did you ignore the wires and spray over them?
or was there a certain part you focused on?

I just sprayed everywhere that had hinges and turning pivots/joints, etc. and let it soak for a bit. I avoided spraying anything towards the back firewall end tho.
