bluetooth not working with the new droidx

i had a blackberry that was compatible with my g35's bluetooth and it was awesome and i didnt have a single problem with it. i just upgraded to the new droidx and it does not seem to be compatible. it picks up the call but i cant be heard and it hangs up after 8seconds. the dealer said theres nothing i can do about it.

Does anyone know of an external bluetooth that i could buy for my car that would also put the audio through the car speakers?

It did something like that with my G1. I went through four phones and a new head unit. Something with the android software doesnt like our bluetooth version.
I just ended up getting a BB

i have an 07.

the droidx is an amazing phone. it beats the iphone hands down in my opinion. if i cant get the bluetooth to work i will still keep this phone.

that is why i want to know if there is an external bluetooth component that i buy that will also go through my car speakers.

The aux cable is your friend. It's not a clean solution, but it does the trick.

I was having similar issue with Nexus One with 2.1. Once I updated to Froyo 2.2, BT works fine.

Same here. The software update fixed all my connection issues in my 07 sedan.

It's not your phone that is causing the problem. It is the OS that your droid is on. 2.1 had a lot of issues. 2.2 seemed to fix a lot of problems. Check to make sure you have the newest update for your phone's Android software.
