Get a 350Z/370Z.

All the fun... 1/2 the price.

Get what you want and don't worry about what others think. Everyone has different opinions. Just do your homework on maintenance and reliability issues so you have some peace of mind when/if you decide to go for it.

Done ... KEEPING THE G! I dont see the point in trading my G, which i have maintained VERY WELL!

Just to do the research I looked it up:

Over the last 57500 miles I have spent:
1600 on maintenance (oil synthetic every 3750, fluids, brakes, etc.)
1500 on tires (2 sets Goodyear JUNK, and Michelin Pilot A/S AMAZING)

So for 3100 I have driven the car 57500 miles basically .054/ mile

I highly doubt that the cost of ownership can be beat... I guess I got seduced by the idea of getting the Porsche.

Now the best part of the deal... my wife who is driving my old DD of 03 Accord with 160K miles was on board with the idea... even though she has an older car.... how great!!

Maybe I will replace her car first?

Sell her car, and put the $5k down on an G35 coupe!!! Alot of nice 5+/- year old out there in the $15k range.

Porsches are one of the worst cars made. They breakdown allot! If something leaks, most times you have to buy the complete unit. For example if any of your seals or gaskets leak on a 911 auto trans (besides the trans pan gasket), you will need to buy a $10,000 easily trans because they don't have parts available seperate to reseal it. That is ridicoulus!

Horrible company.
