Best/cheapest place to buy tires?

Hey guys, I'm thinking about getting Michelin A/S pilot sports for $189 each including lifetime rotations + paying $19 for road hazard (not the prorated kind--full replacement) at Kost tire and auto...+ tax.

Are there better/cheaper places I can get this done? Maybe with lifetime rotations? Thanks!

Depends on where you live. I swear by Discount Tire, but I know that they aren't everywhere.

I don't know about Costco's road hazard program but I hear they have pretty good Michelin prices. +1 for Discount Tire

I would find a place that has the Hunter roadforce balancing machine. Pilot sport a/s plus is a great tire btw!

I got mine at Mr. Tire. I called ahead to make sure they had the Hunter GSP9700 balancing machine and they did not upchange me for roadforce balancing.

Most brick and mortar Discount Tire shops will price match. They will even price match online retailers as well.

i work for Bridgestone and if you have the 18s, Bridgestones Re960s is not a bad replacement from the 050

i recently got my pilot sport a/s plus tires from tirerack - they were offering a special $70 off purchase of four (in the way of a $70 amex gift card). had them ship to a local installer who took care of me. painless process. love the tires.

Is spending $320 for each rear and $230 for each front too pricey or about right for the Bridgestone - Potenza RE050A?

just got a nail through the corner closer to my sidewall on the rear tire and the treads looking a little light all around although i am only at 18K miles (wtf!!). haha - maybe i should get rid of the brick on my right foot =P

Way too expensive; I switched to the Potenza RE760 Sport and they are way better than the RE050s.

yea but if you have the stock 18s, we dont make the 760s in the staggered fitment in the OE second gen size. 960s and the 050s are only ones ive seen in my inventory unless it came out just recently.

here is a tip though...go to our Bridgestone Firestone shops and we do offer buy 3 get 1 free on Bridgestones so you could save yourself about 200-289 on a set if you go that route

I just bought these for my fronts so that's good to hear. Eventually will change out the backs.

If you have the Firestone Credit Card and a Friestone service center they rotate free every 7,000 miles no matter where you purchased the tires. Thanks for the tip on the re960's Ineed new tires for my G35xS before winter are they quiet and how's the mileage I currently have Dunlop supermax great tire crappy mileage 21K and they are used up. Last word on the firestone CC They give back 5% in the way of a voucher for firestone service or tires on your anniversy date

well with our CFNA credit card we usually dont give you 5% if we do the buy 3 get 1 free deal. but you can always ask. actually we rotate the tires whenever you want, i tell customers to rotate even more often. I would go every 3k. If you have staggered fitment then u cant rotate but balancing is covered if you purchase with lifetime balance
