New G owner 07 g35x sedan

Hey guys I am Tom and I just wanted to introduce myself to the forum and ask a few questions for things I couldn't find via search

New(for me) G is a 2007 G35X w/93k miles black on tan interior. Premium, Navi, Tech packages. Clear title with no accidents.

Last car was a tastefully modified 2005 Subaru Outback XT manual triple black.

So I picked the car up today and already noticed some issues. The right rear door window goes down but doesnt come up till after a few minutes have passed. The place I bought it says it's the motor and have one on order.

The drivers side rear is also acting strangly. The first time I tried to put it down it didn't go right away then after a second acted fine. Question is if I pull the motor out and clean it the probable cause or do you think it's something else?

I found the thread on how to do this and might tackle that door soon.

My main question is about the drivers side heated seat.

On my test drives I didn't test it and now on the first cool night I tried using it, it doesn't seem to work right. It bairly heats up and the passenger side works fine. Has anyone had this issue? The light comes on and it does get mildly warmer on high setting. Element?

Other then those issues and needing the rotors turned I love the car and already have the suspension and exhaust picked out.

you shouldnt be having problems with the window motors..... if your car was under warranty you would be able to get the seat warmers fixed for free. there is a TSB on it for a faulty harness causing the passenger side to heat up hotter than the driver side. i had mine replaced under warranty.

Have the dealer do the Brake TSB which will get your front splash shields behind the rotors.
The rotors on our cars warp very easily and a lot of us are dealing with brake issues

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new ride.

welcome aboard! it's possible you have a dirty connection in the wiring harness going to the window motor but i guess if they want to replace the motor you might as well let them.

as for the seats ive heard of your issue, definitely have them do the TSB.

I took the rotors off and had them ground. Didn't feel like taking the knuckle out today, I did however pick up the shields. Found the TSB for then heated seat and will order that.

^ It is...I just hit 32,311 (52,000km).
Anyway these engines will run a long, long time as long as you take care of them.
It seems like schwartzki has a good handle on things and is a DIY'er so getting things up to snuff should NOT cost him to much.

Edit: I meant should NOT cost to much
