ok ppl,

yes i am getting an intake, yes it is cuz of the tax return, and no i have no idea which one to get. here are my pros and cons of each:

R2c: compact, loud, cheaper, less chances of hydrolocking, but less "power" than the gen 3.



stillen: expensive than r2c, more chances of hydrolocking (might be able to get away with hydro shields/ splash shields), needs engine bay modding, more "power" than the r2c.







My thing is at the end of the day, i dont wannna be worried about no hydrolocking issues or warranty voids.

duke it out guys, convince me whyi should go for one and not the other. i really appreciate it!

 

R2c looks better on engine bay. More noticeable!!! And cheaper maybe and have money left over for something else!

I saw one of them real life, you could barely see them!!! You only see two tubes!! And gt a tie bar.(I think that's the name of it) to complete the engine look!

There was a guy at Cars & Coffee this morning with the stillen. Like Salvador said, apart from a couple of chrome tubes. Didn't really look like much. Didn't sound all that impressive (compared to an r2c), especially for the money.

 

You get two items for the price of one!! And it won't be a pain in the *** to install. But again your choice, and my opinion!

It's an engine air filter that you are replacing.
I'm always surprised when people ask which one looks better, sounds better or brings more power but I never see anyone ask which one includes the best filters.
