The dealer replaced the OEM peeling steering wheel and driver door switches cover. I did notice that the steering wheel alignment is slightly off to the right. Does anyone know how difficult it would be for me to realign to center. Wondering what steps are involved? I could live with it if it was too much work. Thanks.

 

Did you try the service manual? Try taking it apart and following the instructions on the service manual when you put it back together. 350ztech has them for the Z and the G

 

I have the same issue. I had the steering wheel replaced and now its off to the right. I brought it back to the dealer and they said there is nothing they could do. There was no adjustment for them to make. How do I fix this? It really annoys me that its off to the right

 

Maybe have an alignment shop try. I think it's BS that the dealer can't fix it. Fvckin bastards.

 

Hey, the DIY paddle shifter install thread popped up again and I was reading it for the heck of it. Looks like you can just follow those instructions and remove the steering wheel. Make sure the car is straight and install the steering wheel back in a straight position.
