09x STRUTS on 08x model ??

I don't mind the general quality of my 08x's suspension,
but I HATE the ride quality of it. (especially after trying out dealer's 09x for a few days)

I though 08 and 09 would share exactly same struts, but there is no way the dampening feeling is so much better than one another.
I drove the exact same daily routes on 09 and ran over those uneven pavements sooooo much better. Couldn't even feel some of them from the seat.

Here are some questions regarding this

1. 08x and 09x share same struts or do 09x's use improved ones?

2. If so, would 09x's struts fit on 08x perfectly?

3. If I decide to get new struts made for 09x, is it ok to change ONLY the front ones?

thank you in advance guys.

I believe they're different because they have different curve weight because of the changes in engine. VHR being slightly heavier than the HR model..., my guess is that they changed the damping rate of the shocks and possibly the spring rates as well.

And yeah, they probably fit JUST FINE.

Heck, I put Z34 coilovers in my V36 sedan. lol
