It doesn't have to be in one day... I was talking about bringing him extra business that he would otherwise not have.
We want tunes, he needs business... why not wash each other's hands.

I didn't say anything about a dyno day. Dyno days suck. It's a lot of sitting around and only a few people benefit.
If I can save 10% or so, I'd be more likely to go and spend my money there. If we offer it to several people, it brings business.

It was just a suggestion.

Exactly what Aeson said.... it would be nice if we could make a deal and go there say we are from this forum and get a discount, I would bring in my car right away. I would also bring a few of my friends and get theirs tuned too

Its a win-win situation

i read elsewhere that if you do the osiris tune you can toggle between two tunes with the cruise control button. therefore have one for performance and one for economy. im not real knowledgable about these things or if that is even right, but im 100% sure i read it on one of these forums and could be worth looking into. when it comes that time for me to do this I will be interesting in finding that answer.

Yeah, the Cobb allows you to switch between tunes as well, but I don't believe it's on the fly with the push of one button and if I understand it correctly, it's a few minutes of downtime switching bewteen tunes.
Can anyone confirm this?

Yeah that's true. You use your cruise control button/cancel button simultaneously to switch between maps. And yes, you can switch on the fly. The maps I have on mine: 93 Octane (agressive/"race"), 91 Octane, Valet, Anti-Theft, and Economy.

Curious in your results with both "race" tune and "economy" tune.

Also where and how much

I agree that there is an excitement to have fun with the car without regards to MPG after a tune, but I don't see how you can get better or equal gas mileage after the tune. In my case, it looks like I've lost 1-2mpg per tank after the tune.
A good tune is not just about raise rpm limit. There is much more to it. You can have different maps with it. In eco mode it focuses on the mpg instead of the get go fast.

Well my dyno results revealed a ~13whp gain after the tune. As for the economy map, it is essentially the stock tune.

you can switch between maps on the cobb while in neutral at the light and be ready to race. cobb also have an xtra wire set up for NOS. valet option too where the car wont rev past 3k...
