Exterior Trunk Button Issue

I'm not sure if this has been asked before, so I apologize if it has. The button on the trunk of my 08 G35 sedan stopped working. The button under the steering wheel works and so does the key fob. The switch in the glove compartment is set to on. I was hoping it was simply a blown fuse since my battery had recently been disconnected. I can't seem to locate the correct fuse. I checked the fuse panel in the driver side compartment. Does anyone know where the correct fuse would be? I'd hate to bring it to the damn dealer only to pay an arm and a leg. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I noticed that you have a 2008. Are you still under warranty ? It doesn't end until you hit 60K. There's another fuse box underneath the hood. It's on the passenger side next to the fender. I'm not sure if there's some kind of trunk fuse in there, but I know there's a fuse box there. Sorry, I can't be of anymore help.

That sounds like the lock. I know you said it is set. Have you actually tried to lock unlock and open it?

Thanks for the replies. I ended up going to the dealer and it turned out to be a damaged antenna for the trunk release. It was supposedly damaged from when I was rear ended and the body shop broke it. The good news is that my insurance company is reimbursing me the $325 it cost to fix.

So, the signal from the key fob would work, but the button physically on the trunk did not? And it was a problem with the antenna? Hmmm, go figure.
