You have to talk to the dealer about it.

wow that's crazy! i bought mine with 49k miles and they offered me and extended warranty. I didn't know the manufacture's warranty was up at 60k. They choose not to you that. it was my fault and i should've done my research. So the story is that they sold me the extend warranty of only 24k miles or 3 yrs starting from 49k miles for $2500.. i was sooo pissed when i found out that in reality i was only paying 2500 for basically 14k miles after the manufactures warranty. I quickly got a refund.. and my payments went down by 38$ a month for 6yrs. I won't probably have the car so long. Does any one know if i can add a warranty from another dealer??

That's funny, because my dealer told me when I bought my used car at 21k miles told me NOT to get the CPO because it was not worth it. I had to pay an extra 1.1k and that they told me the bumper to bumper was up at 4 year, 60k miles and the powertrain was up 6 year, 70k miles.
They told me that since CPO was covering the powertrain only up to 100k miles, there really isn't a point in getting it since they said the car's reliability ratings are high and it would last much longer than that. I saved myself over a grand from the dealer's advice =)
Your dealer really screwed you over allanz and wanted to charge you more...2.4k for only an additional 14k miles? What a joke...
Maybe your car has been in an accident and isn't covered by the bumper to bumper warranty...so you may have to make sure it's never been in an accident. Even if it wasn't reported to carfax, the dealer can easily tell if the car has been in an accident. (Different paint texture, stickers missing, etc.)

I'm not sure...I think every dealer has a different coverage for CPO warranty...
Hence why Infiniti Corp says "Ask your Infiniti Dealer for coverage terms." I asked several dealerships around the NJ area about CPO warranty and they all say different things that are covered.

You can, and I did.
I recently went through Courtney at Scottsdale Infiniti in AZ even though I live in NY. She destroyed all the prices from dealerships in my area and was very professional.

Our 07 G35S has 51k miles and at the end of the lease we purchased the car with a 5yr/50k miles from the dealer's recommended 3rd party warranty (AUL). Since the standard bumper to bumper is 60k we lose out on 9k but were covered till 101k miles or the next five years which ever comes first.
The Infinity Elite was 3yr/36,000miles from Odometer ($100 deductible) and costed $2,271 vs AUL $2,740 5yr/50,000 miles from Odometer ($0 deductible).
Per the dealer the AUL is the same coverage as Infinity and costs a bit more but you do get a bit more miles of coverage.
