V36 sedan/ X model exhaust difference?

Just a quick question for all the G fanatics out there.
I was wondering why an aftermarket exhaust that is for a v36 Sedan
will not be compatible with the X models. AWD. ? Im sure if it has to do with little modifying I will just go ahead and make the purchase.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

well... the structure itself is different.
There are MANY parts that are not made for x models
If you plan to mod alot, go with the non-x.

It has to do with the transfer case. The pipe has to be madae to bend around it. I believe fast intentions and invidia make systems that are compatable

Thanks for your inputs. I was just mainly curious as to what was the difference.
The CBE I see for the 2007 v36 sedan are strictly for non X models,
I was actually in the market for an exhaust for my father as an early xmas gift.
It's time he starts to enjoy a little in his life. Although I was mainly looking for an CBE
with proven drone minimizing.
