I'm researching everything about '07 g35x sedans. Looking to purchase in the new year by March, and I will be buying from a dealer. What should I look for as far as stuff that breaks? what are the major service items that the car will need as it hits 75k, 100k miles? Are there a list of recalls? I'm just getting started on this research so please don't assume I know anything about this car and the motor.

within a few minutes, I did learn about the class action lawsuit in CA about the brembo brakes on the coupe, and some coupe owners had issues with oil leaks near the spark plug wires atop the motor (near valve cover?). Does any of this apply to the sedan?

I've heard too many good things about the g35 sedan and the price is right.

Those infos from the first generation G coupes. Anyways the second generation was pretty trouble free since the start. 07 is the first year for the second generation. They had some minor issues grill pitting, 2 of the intrior panel was piting easily. They could be replaced by the dealer under warranty if it wassn't. Also I believe had a recall on the keyfob and the passanger airbag. Can't really recall any other issue. Oh yeah the ECU update. The 07 had a sensitive throttle and you can get the update for it. It smoothening the acceleration.

Also the OEM brakes are garbage. If you have to, replace it with something else. They are the worst I ever had.
