Picked up an 08 XS!

With the new baby, I needed a little more room and my 2008 STI wasn't cutting it. Found a smoking deal on a one owner 08 XS w/all the goodies so I pulled the trigger. Question is this.

No rear spoiler and I'd like to add one. I really like the flat decklid spoiler that mounts flush to the trunk and gets rid of the terrible chrome piece. Problem is, I have the backup cam. Suggestions on where to get one that integrates the cam?

Congrats and welcome, as for the spoiler check out the 09 G37 Sedan OEM rear deck spoiler with camera cutout which hides the chrome as well.

Search!!! I think you gotta drill some holes. What color is your car? I blacked it out with vinyl. I used to hate it with all my nuts. But if I had the money I would have gotten the 09 OEM rear deck spoiler.

Interestingly, the 09 spoiler with the cam hole is 400 bucks, but the 07/08 raised spoiler is 90 painted and shipped!

09 spoiler is really nice. check Riverside Infiniti they have it much cheaper. it comes pre-painted.

I put vinyl on mine.

Congrats man...

What color did you get?

It will be a big change from an STI especially if you modded the heck out of the STI..

Well i will say you traded the raw athletic performance for a more upscale and attractive luxury ride.

This car is a good balance of sport and luxury but it wont touch your STI in performance.

Although I have run a few newer WRX's 09+ and done pretty well.

Enjoy the car.

^+1 the 07 oem spoiler is subtle yet sporty, goes well with the car. Not over the top at all.

I was going to add a factory spoiler to mine until i was told today by the parts guy that it's not an accessory for the 07 sedan, you can't add it after the fact. He said the car had to be ordered from factory with it. Bummer< I know I can go AM but I wanted stock so the installation would be clean as if it came that way. Oh well no spoiler for me.

I agree with Salvador and I can not stand those damn spoilers. It doesn't flow with the body.

Post pics of the car
