Usually not but maybe you can work it out with them if its a common issue. Or add the loaner rental to your insurance for when it breaks instead of paying to much out of pocket. You usually need to wait a day to have it go into effect.

Depends on the dealership. The more expensive the work, the more likely a loaner will be offered. Oil change? Not so much. Rotors/pads? probably. 30/60/90k maintainance? probably.

I got a loaner car when I went in to have my airbag recall done, as well as a new headlight put in, and I do not have warranty. They just asked me if I wanted one when I made the appointment. But Like what was said ^^^^ I probably got one because of the length of the job.

West Houston gives loners even if your just getting an oil change, depends on the dealer, but as long as you get an appointment you should be able te get a loaner for no cost

depends on how long the job will take. I got a loaner when i took the car for the air bag recall and oil consumption test.

Out of warranty my dealer charges $5 a day for their loaner, I figure it's worth it.
