Warrenty Info.

My car is almost 3 yrs old with $28,000 miles. Can anyone tell me when the warrenty is up? Also, the door pockets are getting scratched up and I wanna know if any of that is covered under warrenty.

It should be 4 years or 60,000 miles. Call an Infiniti dealer give them your VIN number and they can tell you the date it expires.

My G is an 07 and purchased on 07 of January and my warranty expires next month..
The door pockets can get covered under warranty but it really depends on the service advisor and dealership.

Hey I'm in Tallahassee too! Just take it to Prestige, the door handles and steering wheel are covered up to 60k or 4 yrs so hurry. They replaced mine under warranty at around 40k!

Im in the same boat and it should be 4 yrs/60K... I asked about my steering wheel, door pulls and shifter ****. They replaced them all with no questions asked. All brand new without question! They were scratched up but not terrible... I was impressed with Infiniti of Tucson. Thumbs up!

I just got my 07 G35 like 3 weeks ago and noticed that my steering wheel, door pulls, and shifter is peeling. Also on my upper left hand side above my speedomiter is coming apart. I was going to buy replacement until I saw info in this forum. Going to take it to the dealership this tuesday (service dept is closed this weekend for the holiday). I will let you gets know what they say.

Also does anybody have any other things I should look at reguarding to warrenty items that are common? Just don't want to lose out on a deal to get this stuff fixed before my warrenty goes out.

Thanks guys.

^^ exact same thing as me... Where the leather meets the buttons, it was warping and pulling away from the buttons. They replaced it for me no problem.

It depends on when u bought ya car. For example I got my car in 07 march.. My warranty is up at 5 year or 60K which ever comes first.. Now I took my car to have my armrest redone and they told me it's not covered.. So it really depends on the dealership

!!!!UPDATE!!!!

Just dropped the G35 off at the dealership and they are fixing "EVERYTHING" ! (All four door handles, the top right corner of the speedometer, the shift ****, and the steering wheel) To top it off my door stopped opening for some reason right befor I went to the dealership and they are fixing that also. I pick the car up tommorow and will post what the new stuff looks like.

Thanks again for the heads up on this warrenty and if anybody knows of any other "known problems" let me know

I think you should do your door handles like i did. Don't have to worry about it after the warranty is up. I sanded it down and sent it to the paint shop to color match the car. Now it looks awesome.

Wow, good thing I read this. My car has 58,750 miles and my warranty expires in March 2011.

Is there anything else I should bring to the dealership's attention beside what was mentioned about the cosmetics of the interior? Any electronics or hardware?
