Should tires match?

I got a flat today and needed 1 new tire. Different brand but exact same size what I already have on the car, 2007 G35x, will this make any difference?

Thanks

should be fine, may need to be replaced sooner depending on the tire...having miss matched brands/tires looks trashy imo

Yes it will. Different brands wear differently and are clasified differently ie 240AA etc. As far as ride quality you probably won't notice it, and it won't harm anything FYI

It would be the best choice you can make.

I think the best tires are relative on what you want them to do. What kind of driving will you be doing and how much do you want to spend? There are a ton of tires out there. Answering these questions first will help narrow down your choices and help us better suggest the proper tires for you.

I'm a pretty chill driver, takes turns tight and fast and fast on highway and fast starts from dead stops. I guess I would prefer a tire that gives me a smooth comfy ride. Will allow me to push them when needed and give me the control and safety. I live in Albuquerque so we get some snow ad want to make sure they are reliable in that type of weather

since you have an X i m guessin you have snow where you live you could either go with summer/snow combo or go with all season tires.

i went with all season tires... continental or good year make good all season tires. i went with the good year eagles

bring it on

If you already had more than 15K on the current tires, you should at least replace 2 tires especially with the X.
