I have A grounding kit. Not Gord's. On a 2003 sedan I didn't really feel much.

^ your not going to feel anything. Your only going to notice. What i notice is that it does shift a little smoother. I know why people say the feel power right off the bat. It's because your resting the ECU. If you wash your car and reset the ECU your going to think, oh wow!!! I just washed my car and put this awesome wax on the car and i feel more power on the car. LAME!!! I only notice the gears are shifting smoother. And that's good enough for me

I'm pretty familar on what I was to expect. As I made a ground kit for my old maxima. The maxima didn't feel stronger but started quicker, drove a touch smoother and reved a touch easier. Didn't notice any of that on the G.

As with anything electronic, grounding plays a vital role. Just because it appears to be working properly that does not mean that it is actually working ideally. There could be a ton of errors within the digital signal (very easily caused by a poor ground and fluctuating dc voltage) causing a less than ideal digital signal. Digital signals provide a faster more precise signal, but are not as resilient as an analog signal so they are more prone to degradation.

I'm not here trying to sell grounding kits to anyone, but I do stand behind my belief that it has improved shifting from what I knew prior to installing additional ground wires. I bought the car used so for all I know the shifting response (my baseline in which to compare changes to) may have been degraded. I do not discount the fact that I may have had a poor/corroded ground before, and fixed that inadvertently by installing additional grounds which brought the shifting response back to the way it should have been from the factory.
Yep it could be the old grounds are corroded and you just restored factory quality grounding. So the extra grounding does not bring anything new just restores like new grounding.

Yep but the ECU is powered by a DC-DC converter. If you guys know what that means, then you will understand why the ECU either works or does not work.
