Article about defeating keyless entry
I thought this was an intersting article:
http://autos.yahoo.com/articles/auto...h-car-thieves/
I guess this means we have to be aware of the people around us after we get out of our car?

I'd be more concerned about the RFID key getting hacked than the keyless entry getting hacked. While nothing is 100% secure, good alarms with rolling codes are much harder to access and hack than the factory keyless entry and RFID.
There was an article a few years back about how students did a research and hacked cars and credit cards with RFID.

I saw this article too. I've always wondered how far the car could be driven with "no key".
I sometimes start up my car in the morning and get out, lock the doors and walk away and it stays running. I always figured if someone broke in and tried to drive away, they wouldn't get very far without the key in the car. Could be wrong though...

Wow you guys have an infiniti not a ferrari or lambo. Sorry had to say it. It says high tech car thieves. The average joe smoe doesnt have access to the technology it would need to steal our cars on the everyday street. Car thieves steal cars that can be chopped easily and parted out. IE malibus, mustangs, civics, escalades. Easy loot that doesnt raise suspicion. I dont think you have to worry about your car being nabbed if it does insurance will cover it.
