REALLY ? 8HP add for K&N?
i paid 100 for 2 filters.I dont see spending that much money on a intake for tht much money unless u gona do all speed on the car.If its just for little performance drop in best bang for ur buck. But like u said if ur gona tune and full exhaust and intake go ahead its worth it
That article is just wrong from the start. The first sentence says, "The Infiniti G35 is high-tech with a standard smart key where the doors unlock automatically in the presence of the key and you can start the car with a push of a button."
Do your doors unlock automatically because mine sure don't?

I wonder if K&N popped in a couple of brand new OEM engine air filters prior to doing the Baseline stock run or did they just leave in the old ones that may have had 33728miles of dirt trapped in them?
I'm not a big fan of any oiled filter system to begin with. Many times, lesser informed people with these tend to over oil them thinking more is better. This, as many of us know, is more troublesome than running with no filters at all. If you feel the need to replace the intake, go with a dry filter system and enjoy the new tone.
The OP is not about K&N drop ins. It is about gaining ~8whp from an entire K&N Air Intake. You won't get 8whp from changing engine air filters.
lol you are correct, mpg might even go down because people will be tempted to lead it.
I installed mine 1 month ago. I can't tell a difference at all in power. The car still runs great. I love the look AND the sound. Especially if I am next to a wall on the highway. Love it. I can't afford the exhaust and tune yet, so for now I just figure the hp is the same. Gas mileage stayed EXACTLY the same, even with my foot in the throttle more.
