I'm not a veteran on this site...but show me this dyno. I searched many of times and I have yet to see this come to light (ie. propagated myth?)

I've been on a lot of cars where "intakes" were frowned upon, but the guys making the most power always had one.

My bubble is fine, thanks. Like I said, my car runs and sounds great, better than stock in my opinion, and thats all that matters to me. PROOF????

Relax guys... this is a site where ppl inform others what they have read/learned/researched/experienced. And from the countless threads of people dynoing with stock airbox vs all kinds of aftermarket intakes... stock helds its own everytime and sometimes even performed better. Now how accurate are their dynos? I dont know im just telling you what I read.

Wit that said im still getting an aftermarket intake for sound and looks. I spent countless hours reading and searching these threads, i figured i help you out and just sum it up for you. Your welcome jack asses

I have seen some dynos on this forum that shows CAI is only for looks and sound. As far as a significant loss (10 hp), especially on my v36, havent seen that yet. I wish I would have dyno'd before I put the intake on.... Exhaust and tune will come soon enough but I will never know what the intake did exactly, except make me smile.

Only a NOOB would believe the claims manufactures make about their products. Take off 75% of what they claim and you'll be closer to the truth with our G35s. Nissan could have done a far better job getting fresh/cool air to our OE intakes. There are other car brands where the restriction is far greater than what we have so it also depends on what you're driving.
